A New Year's Note from TPRA President Graham Painter

Happy Holidays, everyone! Hats off to our 2009 TPRA President Scott White. We are very fortunate to have hard working practitioner Scott White as our incoming 2009 president. A long-time board member, Scott was the driving force behind TPRA’s innovative Web 2.0 Boot Camp last fall in Round Rock, chairing the committee that put it together with Dr. Judy Oscam at Texas State University. He’s also the leader who forged our collaborative partnership with the North Texas PRSA Chapters to create this spring’s groundbreaking 2009 Conference in Frisco. This inclusive approach to professional development may be the model for future conferences in Texas, and Scott & Committee are due special recognition for breaking the old mold and creating a fresh, new one. Congratulations, Scott. Have a great 2009! Last week we circulated a list of your TPRA board of directors and officers for 2009. Please welcome new board members: Yvette Blair Raul Hinojosa, Jr. ...
