TPRA Membership Renewals

TPRA evolved toward becoming a different organization this year.  We broadened our focus beyond public relations and began to embrace the concept that many of our members wear more than just one communications hat.  While we'll always be TPRA, we also became the Communicators' Connexion, a crossroads of information on all professional communications, including advertising, marketing, and investor relations.  We created a universal calendar that brought you the events from all the state's professional communications trade organizations, and we enhanced our communicators' blog to embrace a wider range of topics.  We just completed one of our most successful fall seminars, the Web 2.0 Boot Camp, where attendees interacted with speakers in a fully WI-FI environment to examine the current state of social media.  Participants told us it was the best ever.
 
That was just a start.  The evolution will continue next year, as our Best of the Southwest Communicators Conference February 27 in Frisco will focus on excellent professional development opportunities, more networking, more exposure to marketing and advertising issues, and recognition for professional accreditation as well as top quality work.
