2010 PRFT | Joe Riordan Scholarship Form

Application for PRFT | Joe Riordan Scholarship

The PRFT | Joe Riordan Scholarship pays $125 for the registration fee (includes lunch and a ticket to the gala) for the 2010 TPRA Leadership Day & Gala scheduled for March 5, 2010 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Austin, TX. Students must be enrolled in a Texas school of higher education and taking communication courses. As a recipient of the Jor Riordan scholarship, students will also be asked to volunteer their time during the Leadership Day & Gala to assist the TPRA conference committee.

Ten scholarships will be given to the first 10 students to submit an application.

Deadline to apply is February 16, 2010.

The TPRA Leadership Day (formerly the TPRA Annual Conference) will be held on March 5 from 8am to 5pm and the Gala begins at 7pm that same evening and will end at 10pm.

About Joe Riordan | Joe Riordan was a long-time member of TPRA who passed away in 2007, and his family designated PRFT as the beneficiary of memorials in his name.

About PRFT | The Public Relations Foundation of Texas is a nonprofit subsidiary organization of TPRA founded in 1979. Its primary mission is to support public relations education in Texas.
